Aging and Special Populations
Being able to accomplish activities of daily living is essential for all aging and special populations. Training to improve one’s quality of life around the home takes special importance in our studio.
In addition, Laura (Schiltz) Gilchrist holds a Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology. With her expertise we can work with clients who have special needs such as fibromyalgia, low back pain, Parkinson’s disease, stroke victims, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and more.
Pregnancy and Post Partum
It must be something in the water! More and more women are entering our facility after finding out they are going to be a mom. Exercise for the pregnant woman and post-partum is extremely important to aid in a healthy, safe and expedient delivery and recovery. Certain exercises need to be avoided during various trimesters and intensity levels need to be adjusted. Working with a certified personal trainer at Studio 1-on-1 will assure you the safest approach to exercise before, during and after delivery.
Balance And Stability
As we age, balance and stability become increasingly important. Using various stability exercise protocols, our trainers will work with you on this vital aspect throughout your daily routines.
