I started working with Cindy shortly after having my first child. I had been an athlete my whole life prior to having my son but had never worked with a personal trainer before. After his birth I was looking to get back into shape but did not have hours to spend at the gym with a newborn. I decided to sign up for a series of 30 minute sessions with Cindy. Cindy really listened to what I was looking to accomplish and came up with short dynamic workouts for me to do at each of our sessions. I was amazed at the great workout I could get in just 30 minutes. Cindy specifically designed the workouts based on my goals and showed me that it was possible to get results in just 30 minutes. I have really enjoyed training at Studio 1-on-1! Everyone has been very welcoming, including the other trainers and clients. Of course I love working with Cindy! "If you are anything like me, you are probably embarrassed about working out in front of large crowds because you feel ashamed. Well, this is what brought me to Studio 1 on 1. The studio is cozy, comfortable, convenient and you are not on display. Like I said, this brought me but this is not what kept me. The difference between Studio 1 on 1 and other gyms is that you are VALUED. Laura fits the individual with the trainer and vice versa so that the unit works. Because you are valued, the lines of communication are open and you are free to express yourself. Training with Laura has been the perfect solution for me to get in shape and help my tennis game. She is a master of efficiency, which helps with my busy schedule – we are able to do in 30 minutes should take over an hour, and her location is super convenient. Just as important is the quality of the exercise – we train at a level of intensity that I could usually not achieve on my own, and all of the exercises are targeted and pre-planned. Extraordinary Trainer! I have been training at Studio 1 on 1 consistently several times a week for over 7 years. My workout is customized to my needs and I can honestly say I haven't had the same workout yet! I've even worked out through two pregnancies and Laura took the time to make adjustments to my workout for my safety and comfort. I feel like when my muscles start to peak, Laura sees that and adjusts my workout accordingly. Incredible motivation! The studio is modern, clean and very private. The equipment is updated regularly so I don't feel like I'm working out on anything outdated. If you haven't yet tried a Sproing treadmill, this is the place to do it!

I have been training with Laura on and off for the past few years. She does a great job of challenging you with several DIFFERENT exercises. It is never boring and she does a great job of mixing things up. She helped me recover from a shoulder injury and was very conscious of how I felt before, during, and after the exercises. The studio itself is clean and well stocked with equipment (not machines), a changing area, a fridge to keep your water bottle, and various nutritional items (drink tabs, bars, fruit).

Darius Moore was my running coach when I was enrolled in the Run Fit program at Run For Your Life for two consecutive 9-week courses in the spring of 2015. I very much enjoyed Darius being the coach of our classes. We met two times a week for an hour and he assigned us homework to complete each weekend. He led our class in warming-up, running, cool-down, post-run exercises and stretching. He also led discussions on injury prevention and nutrition. The goal of our class was to be able to run a 5K by the end of the 9 week period. He incrementally increased our running distance each week to lead all of us in reaching our goal.
Darius shows a genuine interest in each of his students. He is an excellent listener which makes it easy to ask him questions and talk to him about challenges that arise. Darius is a great coach to a wide variety of students, ranging from beginners to advanced athletes. He is supportive, encouraging and motivating. I highly recommend Darius Moore as a coach and a personal trainer.

During 2012 through 2014, I had the pleasure of working with Darius as my personal trainer. Darius worked with me in improving my overall fitness, but also focused on improving my skills as a runner. In our weekly meetings, I could count on Darius to be prompt and professional. Our workouts were intense, but he structured our sessions in a way that was fun and made the time pass quickly. Under his direction, I made great strides in my overall health, including weight loss, lowered blood pressure, and increased “good” cholesterol. I also greatly improved my form and increased my endurance and speed as a runner. Darius is not only a fun and effective trainer, but he’s an all-around great guy. I have been working with Darius since October 2015 on a 1:1 basis. I first met him through a group running program. The program was good, but Darius was outstanding as a leader, mentor and coach. Laura is an excellent trainer. But to state this doesn't begin to scratch the surface of why she's the best. Laura gets to know the client; the needs, the goals, the abilities. And then she motivates and pushes you to stretch those goals, further your abilities, and push you towards meeting those goals and striving for better. She has an acute knowledge of strength, flexibility and cardio exercises to seamlessly move you from one to the next. She models the techniques if you're unsure, gives simple and easy to follow advice to correct your form .She knows when to push you and when to stretch you. In short, she's a one-stop shop. Highly professional, friendly and talented. You can't get this kind of training in a "big-box" gym.
